Advance Auto Parts ‘Media Day’ Unleashes Super DIRT Week XXXVII Track Activity

Accredited members of the press corps are cordially invited to attend ‘Advance Auto Parts Media Day’ to officially kick off Super DIRT Week XXXVII at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. Activity begins at 12:00 noon on Thursday in the Infield Pit Conference Center located directly across from the main covered grandstand. An afternoon press conference leads off the festivities, followed by an open interview session and luncheon.

Proper passes are required for entrance into the special Oct. 9 media event and can be obtained ONLY when signing in for Super DIRT Week credentials at the NYS Fairgrounds’ Gate #10 media trailer. Seating is on a first come basis so sign in and arrive early as space remains limited for this annual gathering.

Representatives from many of DIRTcar’s premier partners, including Rite Aid Pharmacy, Advance Auto Parts, Hoosier Tire, Dig Safely New York, Town Mechanical Inc. and BCN Motorsports will be participating in the annual event which will also serves to showcase DIRTcar Racing NorthEast’s 33rd successive season of operation.

In attendance Thursday will be several DIRTcar Racing corporate officials, including World Racing Group Chief Executive Officer Brian Carter and WRG President Tom Deery. Also on the floor will be DIRTcar NorthEast Director of Competition & Track Sanctioning Cory Reed and Super DIRT Week Event Coordinator Jack Deery.

During the afternoon affair find out the latest about all the racing coverage offered throughout Super DIRT Week and be the first to learn of any late-breaking news as teams prepare for the first round of time trials. Also provided will be up-to-the minute race team information plus one-on-one interviews with many of the top Advance Auto Parts Series drivers, with special appearances by more guests being finalized as the October date approaches.
