A return to the Turning Stone Resort & Casino will officially bring to a close the 2009 race season as the popular entertainment complex in Verona, New York plays host to the 34th Annual DIRTcar Racing Northeast ‘Night of Champions’ Awards Banquet and Fall Promoters Meeting & Workshop on November 13-14.

The traditional post-season celebration among competitors, sponsors and officials will honor the top series drivers along with DIRTcar Northeast track champions, with a number of special awards handed out during the annual autumn affair.

DIRTcar Promoter meetings will run 9am-5pm on Friday with the awards banquet for Big-Block Modified, 358-Modified, Sportsman and Pro Stock championship teams set to take place the evening of Saturday, November 14.

A number of rooms have been reserved on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for race teams, sponsors and track personnel seeking overnight accommodations at this popular entertainment complex in anticipation of another sell-out gathering. Weekend room blocks will be held with a four-week cut off so reservations must be made by October 13 to insure the special discounted rates.

All DIRTcar guests will be lodged in two unique Turning Stone settings: the Hotel Resort, one of the largest hotels in Central New York, and The Tower, the tallest building between Albany and Syracuse offering a stunning panoramic view of the countryside. Guests of each are welcome to access all of the amenities of the resort.

Turning Stone Casino Resort is located between Utica and Rome amidst the farms and rolling hills of Central New York and close to the larger city of Syracuse. In addition, the Shoppes at Turning Stone stock unique items like fine jewelry and custom t-shirts while numerous eateries offer everything from steak to fish on menus ranging from American to Asian cuisine. Blackjack, poker, craps, keno and baccarat are among more than a dozen games headlining the casino activity while High Stakes Bingo boasts the highest jackpots and the most exciting bingo games in the state.
