{"id":1619,"date":"2021-01-28T09:04:58","date_gmt":"2021-01-28T09:04:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dirtcar.com\/esports\/?p=1619"},"modified":"2021-01-28T09:04:58","modified_gmt":"2021-01-28T09:04:58","slug":"shark-bite-jackson-wins-third-street-stock-feature-of-season-2-at-lanier","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dirtcar.com\/esports\/2021\/01\/28\/shark-bite-jackson-wins-third-street-stock-feature-of-season-2-at-lanier\/","title":{"rendered":"SHARK BITE: Jackson Wins Third Street Stock Feature of Season 2 at Lanier"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>McMahan, Erickson garner Tyler Bachman Enterprises\u2019 first top-10 finishes in final race<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tyler Jackson has reigned supreme over the Chevy Performance Street Stock League in DIRTcar eSports Season 2.<\/p>\n<p>With his third Feature win in eight weeks of competition Wednesday night at Lanier National Speedway, Jackson remained the only driver on the circuit to win multiple Feature events.<\/p>\n<p>But what was his secret to success at Lanier?<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"DIRTcar eSports Street Stocks Lanier National Speedway January 27, 2021 | HIGHLIGHTS\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0Fw-zgJdpFA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI finally put a Qualifying effort together, and that makes a huge difference in these Street Stocks,\u201d Jackson told announcer Rick Eshelman in the DIRTVision post-race interview. \u201cThey\u2019re just so slow and heavy; if you bury yourself in Qualifying, it\u2019s really hard to pass.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While the League does not tally points throughout the season and declare an eventual champion, Jackson may as well have been the informal \u201cchampion\u201d with his performances throughout the season, which never saw him finish outside of the top-10 one time in seven starts.<\/p>\n<p>Another strong driver who competed mostly in the latter half of the League schedule was Paul Visage, who collected his third top-10 of the season Wednesday night after chasing Jackson down for the better part of the race.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got down there and hung the left sides in the moisture there, but you couldn\u2019t really pass. The team\u2019s biggest night of the season came with all the firepower the 25-car field could handle, as a grand total of six TBE cars made the Feature, much to the delight of team executives who are currently working on their plans for competition in Season 3.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Feature (30 Laps)<\/strong> \u2013\u00a01.
