In 2010, Rolling Wheels Raceway will open its doors with 10 times the ACTION in years past, as DIRTcar NorthEast headed up by General Manager Cory Reed dedicate their efforts into rebuilding events and attractions to the famed Elbridge, NY track.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are excited about the schedule we have put together,\u201d replied Reed. \u201cIt\u2019s aggressive and has something for everyone. With roofs or with wings, with fenders or without, they will be featured at the Fast Track in 2010.\u201d<\/p>\n Closing out the 2009 season in historic fashion, Rolling Wheels Raceway hosted the hottest ticket in town, the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in front of a sell-out crowd during the 38th<\/sup> annual Super DIRT Week. This year we are proud to announce that the boys will be back for an encore performance during Super DIRT Week, rolling into town on Saturday, October 9th<\/sup>. But wait, There\u2019s more! In 2010 the winged warriors won\u2019t be the only Outlaws in town, as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series make their way to Rolling Wheels Raceway on Thursday, August 19th <\/sup>for an unforgettable performance on the 5\/8 mile oval.<\/p>\n Just when you thought the 2010 season couldn\u2019t get any more exciting, Rolling Wheels Raceway will close out the month of July with a Sprint Car spectacular, hosting the inaugural Central New York 360 Sprint Car Summer Shootout July 23-24th<\/sup>. Sprint racers from around the NorthEast will make their presence known as the ESS, URC, and Patriot Goodyear 360 Sprint Cars will convene at the Wheels for two days of non-stop, gut-wrenching action. Stayed tuned for more details as ticket information including weekend packages will be announced.<\/p>\n Now what would racing in the 2010 be at the Wheels without some heart-pounding, full-throttle combat from the Big Block Modifieds? This season, the Big Blocks have been slated six times at the fast track including the July 4th<\/sup> Super DIRTcar Modified Series Stars and Stripes 100-lap extravaganza and a new addition to the schedule, the \u201cSpring Fling\u201d 50-lap, $3,000-to-win Modified date on June 6th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n Coming back, the World Series Weekend returns this season with a Saturday and Sunday format again in 2010 with late afternoon shows; however, this year the weekend will provide fans with an electrifying new addition to the racing card! The BRP Late Models join Mr. DIRTcar 358-Modified Series, Parts Plus DIRTcar Stock car Tri-Track Series, Mr. DIRTcar Sportsman Series, Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Series, and the Big Block Modifieds for a two day event in September like no other. With the 39th<\/sup> annual Super DIRT Week merely weeks away, the heavy hitters of dirt track racing will assemble at the Wheels on September 25-26th<\/sup> for one last shot at glory on the prestigious track. Details regarding Camping spots and Ticket information will be released in the coming months.<\/p>\n In addition to big events coming to the Wheels, DIRTcar NorthEast unveils a Test and Tune program for 2010 which will allow racers a rare opportunity to sort out on the kinks with a practice session every other Wednesday starting Wednesday, April 28th <\/sup>thru August 28th<\/sup>. The practice sessions are open to all classes and will run from 5pm until dark.<\/p>\n The schedule is tentative and subject to change. Additional classes, dates and show times are still under discussion and will be released as they are finalized. Detailed ticket and season\u2019s pass information will be released soon<\/p>\n
