{"id":45100,"date":"2023-09-10T10:51:47","date_gmt":"2023-09-10T14:51:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dirtcar.com\/?p=45100"},"modified":"2024-01-14T13:08:04","modified_gmt":"2024-01-14T18:08:04","slug":"officials-call-off-sundays-dirtcar-and-ess-weedsport-events-due-to-wet-grounds-combined-with-unstable-forecast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dirtcar.com\/news\/officials-call-off-sundays-dirtcar-and-ess-weedsport-events-due-to-wet-grounds-combined-with-unstable-forecast\/","title":{"rendered":"Officials Call Off Sunday\u2019s DIRTcar and ESS Weedsport Events Due to Wet Grounds Combined with Unstable Forecast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"s3\"> DIRTcar<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> Racing and Weedsport Speedway officials have called off Sunday\u2019s Cavalcade Cup events d<\/span><span class=\"s3\">ue to wet grounds from heavy overnight rains <\/span><span class=\"s3\">combined with <\/span><span class=\"s3\">unsettled <\/span><span class=\"s3\">weather the rest of the day <\/span><span class=\"s3\">forecast<\/span><span class=\"s3\">ed<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> by Wayne Mahar\u2019s Precision Weather Service<\/span><span class=\"s3\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s3\">The <\/span><span class=\"s3\">DIRTcar<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> 358 Feature<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, ESS Feature,<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> and the <\/span><span class=\"s3\">DIRTcar<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> Sportsman Classic scheduled for today will be <\/span><span class=\"s3\">completed<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> on Tuesday, Oct. 3<\/span><span class=\"s3\">,<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> during Super DIRT Week. <\/span><span class=\"s3\">The Super <\/span><span class=\"s3\">DIRTcar<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> Series portion of the Cavalcade Cup will be canceled as there is no suitable date left this season to make up the race.<\/span><span class=\"s3\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"s3\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"s3\">Fans with ticket <\/span><span class=\"s3\">stubs and pit wristbands <\/span><span class=\"s3\">should hold onto them for the rescheduled <\/span><span class=\"s3\">DIRTcar<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> 358 Modified<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, ESS,<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> and Sportsman events.
