A Friday night battle under the lights is next for the DIRTcar Pro Stock Series as it returns to Fulton Speedway.

The Series joins Outlaw 200 weekend on Friday, Oct. 4, for a 30-lap Feature paying $1,200-to-win.

Joining the card for the Friday portion of Outlaw 200 weekend are the Empire Super Sprints, Modifieds, and Sportsman. For Tickets, CLICK HERE.

It’s the final tune-up before Super DIRT Week 52 at Oswego Speedway, Oct. 7-12, where a champion will be crowned in the DIRTcar Pro Stock 50.

Here’s a look at What to Watch for at Fulton:

A Chance to Extend: As Series points leader Pete Stefanski approaches his fifth-Series title, he returns to a track where he’s had more success than any other driver.

The North Tonawanda, NY driver has won five of the 11 Series Features at the track, including a victory in four straight seasons from 2005-2008.

Stefanski enters the weekend with a 16-point lead over Brandon Emigh, and an 18-point lead over Beau Ballard.

A win this weekend would be his 29th career victory, which would be 10 more wins than any other driver.

Beau and Brandon: Emigh and Ballard have two races to try and become the 18th different Pro Stock champion in Series history.

Ballard enters the weekend on a hot streak after two consecutive victories coming at Albany-Saratoga Speedway and Glen Ridge Motorsports Park. The Stamford, NY driver has four top fives in five starts in 2024 but has never made a Series start at Fulton.

Emigh, who opened the Series with a win at Albany-Saratoga has also never been to Fulton in his career. He’s finished in the top 10 in four of the five races this season and is coming off an eighth at Albany-Saratoga during Malta Massive Weekend.

Final Tune-up for Super DIRT Week: Friday’s stop at Fulton is the first of back-to-back Friday nights to close the 2024 championship season. That means drivers are aiming to build momentum for the DIRTcar Pro Stock 50 at Super DIRT Week 52.

Jason Casey, Rich Crane, and three-time Series champion Jocelyn Roy round out the top six in the points standings, separated by 22 points.

While all three are winless in Series action this year, they’ve found Victory Lane at their home tracks. Casey (2) and Crane each scored wins at Albany-Saratoga this season, while Roy earned a win at Autodrome Granby and Cornwall Motor Speedway.

All three are looking for their first win at Fulton.
