World Racing Group Appeal Commission Adjusts Penalties For Farmer City Altercation

Farmer City RacewayConcord, NC — The World Racing Group Appeal Commission heard the appeal of UMP DIRTcar members in good standing, Don Hammer and Wes Steidinger, for an altercation that occurred at Farmer City Raceway on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008.

The penalties that were issued were adjusted as follows: Don Hammer, a $500 fine to UMP DIRTcar and probation until Dec. 31, 2008. Wes Steidinger, a $500 fine to UMP DIRTcar, suspension from the Aug. 8, 2008 racing event at Farmer City Raceway and probation until Dec. 31, 2008.

The Commission quorum that heard the appeal (Joe Skotnicki, Daniel Grill and AJ Moore) determined the penalties issued must be adjusted.
