For one decade strong, Halloween weekend in Concord, NC, will be invaded by the top local stars of the DIRTcar regional divisions for World Short Track Championship.
The three-day showdown at The Dirt Track at Charlotte is highlighted by a schedule packed with competition across 10 divisions, an increased overall purse for each class, and contingency award giveaways for drivers and teams to seek throughout the weekend.

The Dirt Track at Charlotte | 10th Anniversary World Short Track Championship (Oct. 30 – Nov. 1) – The heroes of local DIRTcar racing will squabble in the “Tarheel State” for a shot at standing on the biggest stage of their career in the 10th edition of WSTC.
The 10-division showcase around the 4/10-mile red clay oval includes the Mid-East 602 Late Models, COMP Cams MMSA Mini Stocks, DIRTVision SEHA Hornets, FOX Factory CRUSA Pro Late Models (604), Hoosier Racing Tire Mid-East Crate Modifieds, MSD DIRTcar Pro Stocks, RaceQuip CRUSA/Mid-East Street Stocks, SRI Performance MMSA Thunder Bombers, Summit Racing Equipment DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, and VP Racing DIRTcar Sportsman.
With a $34,000 boost to the overall WSTC purse – a 22% increase – there will be over $200,000 up for grabs in payouts and contingency prizes for drivers and crews to leave with.
Similar to 2024, hauler load-in begins on Wednesday at 5 p.m. Thursday will host Hot Lap/Qualifying for all 10 divisions and Championship Features for the Pro (604) Late Models, DIRTcar Sportsman, DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, and DIRTcar Pro Stocks. Friday has nonstop action with Heat Races for all 10 divisions that will commence at 4:15 p.m. Finally, Saturday’s WSTC finale hosts the biggest races of the event, featuring Last Chance Showdowns at 12 p.m. before going into the night’s Championship Features.
