DIRTcar’s annual UMP Modified Florida Speedweeks returns in 2026 with an 11-race tour through January and February in the heart of the “Sunshine State.”

The statewide stay will begin at Hendry County Motorsports Park on Friday, Jan. 23, and finishes with the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals Gator Championship finale on Saturday, Feb. 7.

An overall points tally between Hendry County and Volusia County will be maintained throughout the three weeks of racing, with checks being distributed through the top-10 in Speedweeks standings.

Hendry County, a 1/3-mile bullring located southwest of Lake Okeechobee, welcomes the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds to the facility for their Speedweeks debut. The Modifieds will battle between Friday and Saturday, Jan. 23-24, with Friday’s Feature awarding $2,500 to the winner, and Saturday’s finale paying $5,000-to-win, laying the groundwork for nine nights of action at Volusia Speedway Park.

Similar to the 2025 edition of DIRTcar Nationals, the UMP Modifieds begin the first three days at Volusia Speedway Park alongside the American Sprint Car Series, Jan. 29-31. They’ll run a Feature each night with a more than $22,000 purse for the weekend. Each night will count toward the Speedweeks standings.

Then, the UMP Modifieds will compete for three major titles in one week. Racing Monday to Saturday, Feb. 2-7, Modified drivers will collect points toward the DIRTcar Nationals Big Gator Championship and the Speedweeks title. Monday through Friday, there will be six 20-lap Modified Features a night, each paying $1,000 to the winner.

Friday’s six Features – lined up by Big Gator points – will lock in the first 18 drivers into Saturday’s 30-lap, $5,000-to-win Gator Championship finale. Saturday’s finale will award a Big Gator trophy to the Gator Championship Feature winner, a Big Gator trophy to the overall Big Gator points champion, and crown the 2026 Speedweeks champion.

An overall points tally will be kept throughout all three weeks, awarding a $3,000 bonus check to the Speedweeks champion, in addition to checks for each of the top-10 in the final points standings. The top three in Big Gator Championship points will also earn bonus checks, with the champion getting $2,000, second getting $1,000, and third getting $500.

In the 2025 edition, Kyle Strickler scored the overall Speedweeks title for a second consecutive season, while Watervliet, MI’s Curt Spalding took both the Gator Championship Feature and the overall Big Gator title for the first time. They will be challenged in 2026 by the top divisional stars, including DIRTcar UMP Modified national champion Cole Falloway, five-time Golden Gator winner Kenny Wallace, and Volusia UMP Modified champion Jason Garver.
