With weather models showing rain Thursday evening at Airborne Park Speedway, DIRTcar Northeast and track officials have canceled Thursday’s DIRTcar Pro Stock Series event.
The event will not be made up, as Series and track officials could not find a viable date to reschedule. However, the Series will return to Airborne in 2027.
Drivers will now turn their attention to a midweek doubleheader at Cornwall Motor Speedway on Tuesday, July 7, and Mohawk International Raceway on Wednesday, July 8. Both events will be run with the Super DIRTcar Series.
Pete Stefanski leads the Series standings by six points over Jason Casey heading into Cornwall, as both aim for their first Series win of 2026. They’ll have to contend with stars from both the United States and Canada, like three-time Series champion Jocelyn Roy and Tommy Lizotte.
