Race Time Weather Outlook Cancels Pabst Shootout at Can-Am

Rainout

With the best interests of traveling teams and fans in mind and weather models expecting severe weather in the LaFargeville, NY area on Wednesday night, DIRTcar Northeast and Can-Am Speedway officials have canceled Wednesday’s Pabst Shootout featuring the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series and DIRTcar Sportsman Series North and Central Region.

The DIRTcar 358 Modified Series returns to action on Sunday, July 7, at Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, NY, for the Speedweek Finale.

Lance Willix is the current Series points leader entering the weekend. He’ll try and fend off challenges from Billy Dunn, Felix Roy, and Erick Rudolph, who’s won three out of the last six Series events at the 3/8-mile track.

Meanwhile, the DIRTcar Sportsman North Region finishes its 2024 season at Autodrome Drummond in Drummondville, QC, on Saturday, Aug. 3.

The Central Region returns to action in a newly scheduled event on Saturday, July 20 at Land of Legends Raceway in Canandaigua, NY.
