WEEDSPORT, N.Y. – June 16, 2014 – Pursuant to Glen Ridge Motorsports Park’s announcement modifying its night for weekly racing, DIRTcar has withdrawn its sanction of all DIRTcar divisions. In addition, the Super DIRTcar Big-Block Modified Series event, scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, 2014, has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
DIRTcar points toward the “Best 16” finishes will be counted toward the season ending point fund awards throughout the Sunday, June 15, event, however a home track bonus will not be awarded.
