Rain Postpones Friday’s DIRTcar Sportsman Series Central Region Event at Brewerton

DIRTcar Racing Rainout

With rain in the Central Square, NY area, and more expected throughout the day on Friday, DIRTcar Northeast and Brewerton Speedway officials have postponed Friday’s DIRTcar Sportsman Series Central Region event.

DIRTcar Northeast and Brewerton Speedway officials are working on a suitable date to reschedule the event.

The Series opener now moves to Tuesday, June 11, at Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, NY.

Richard Murtaugh won an exciting DIRTcar Sportsman Series Championship event last year during Super DIRT Week and will aim for a second straight Series victory at the track.

He’ll contend with Zach Sobotka, Nick Root, and Emmett Waldron, who grabbed early season momentum at their home tracks.

For fans looking for DIRTcar Sportsman Series action this weekend, the East Region will open its season on Saturday, May 11, at Bear Ridge Speedway.
