A trip to New York’s Capital Region kicks off the DIRTcar Sportsman Series East Region with a visit to Lebanon Valley Speedway.
Drivers will battle in a 30-lap Feature, paying $2,000-to-win on Saturday, April 19, in the first DIRTcar Sportsman Series event at the track since 2017.
Joining the Sportsman on the card are the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series, DIRTcar Pro Stocks, Limited Sportsman, Street Stocks & 4-Cylinders.

Here are the storylines to watch at Lebanon Valley:
Representing Bear Ridge: In 2025, the DIRTcar Sportsman Series East Region was dominated by drivers who race weekly at Bear Ridge Speedway, starting with defending champion Jason Gray.
The East Thetford, VT driver earned a win and three top fives in last year’s Series to win his first regional championship. Gray has made two starts at Lebanon Valley, finishing 30th and 13th in King of Dirt Series events in 2015.
Joining Gray will be Jeremy Huntoon, who earned two top 10s in last year’s East Region, New Hampshire’s Jeff Huntington, and Bear Ridge Promoter C.V. Elms.
TH2: While the Bear Ridge drivers aim to defend their sweep of the podium this season, Saturday’s race goes through defending Lebanon Valley track champion Tim Hartman Jr.
Hartman won 13 of 14 Features at the track in 2025 and won the track’s Spring Fling opener last weekend. He has one DIRTcar Sportsman Series win in his career, earning that victory during OktoberFAST in 2020 at Albany-Saratoga Speedway.
“TH2” is also searching for a track milestone this weekend. With a win on Saturday, he’d tie Chris Kokosa for fourth on the track’s Sportsman all-time wins list with 23 victories.
Valley Faithful: Joining Hartman at Lebanon Valley is a stout group of regulars like Michael Sabia, who won the last East Region event at the track in 2017.
The Easton, CT driver has nine sportsman victories at the track and finished second to Hartman in last year’s track points standings with nine top fives and 14 top 10s.
Nick Giardini and Brady Cordova are two other drivers who’ll join the field this weekend, expected to make their first DIRTcar Sportsman East Region starts. Giardini had nine top fives and 11 top 10s last year, while Cordova earned seven top fives and 13 top 10s.
