CONCORD, NC — Oct 27, 2017 — Thirty-three Hoosier Racing Tire DIRTcar/SECA Pro Modified teams were on hand during night two of the OneDirt World Short Track Champion as they ran their qualifier heat races to begin setting the field for Saturday’s $1,000-to-win, 25-lap Feature.
In those preliminary heat races, which took the top six out of each and locked them into Saturday’s Feature, Union Grove, North Carolina driver Jeff Parsons collected the first heat race victory over Slade Parsons (no relation). Jeff Robinson was third, with Nick Macmillan, Chris Taylor and John Robinson all transferring.
In the second heat race, Kevin Pangrazio took the checkered flag as the Davidson, North Carolina driver won over Chris Steele, Tom Topham, Robert Poole, Chris Stowe and Chris Smith.
In the third and final heat race, Statesville. North Carolina’s Buck Stevens won over Morgan Widener, as Preston Blalock, Johnny Stovall, Justin Blevins and Dylan Davis were the transfer cars.
The Hoosier Racing Tire Pro Modifieds take the field one last time tomorrow before the Championship Feature for the Last Chance Showdown. Racing begins at 3 pm.
