American Modified Series Championship Weekend at Moler Sept. 17 and Lawrenceburg Sept. 18

American Modified SeriesGlasgow, KY-September 13, 2010- The American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner will conclude its inaugural season of clay slinging, wide open racing competition this weekend with its 2010 Championship Weekend at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH on Friday September 17 for $1,500 to win and at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, IN on Saturday September 18 for $2,000 to win

On Friday September 17 at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH, the American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner will present a full program of practice, A-B Group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win A-Main.  Other divisions in competition at Moler Raceway Park on September 17 will be Super Late Models and Street Stocks.

On Saturday September 18 at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, IN, the American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner will present a full program of practice, A-B Group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the $2,000 to win A-Main.  Other divisions in competition at Lawrenceburg Speedway on September 18 will be Non-Wing Sprint Cars and Pure Stocks.

Activities for the September 17 Moler Raceway Park date will see the pit area open at 4:30 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 4:30 p.m.  The driver’s meeting will be at 6:45 p.m., with practice set for 7:00 p.m., followed by time trials and racing at 7:30 p.m.  General admission ticket prices for this event will be $15, while a pit pass will be $30.

Activities for the September 18 Lawrencburg Speedway date will see the pit area open at 4:00 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 5:00 p.m.  The driver’s meeting will be at 5:45 p.m., with practice set for 6:00 p.m., followed by time trials at 6:30 p.m., with racing set to go at 7:00 p.m.  General admission will be $15 for adults, while a pit pass will be $30.

The A-Main purse for the September 17 Moler Raceway Park event is as follows:  1st- $1,500, 2nd- $1,000, 3rd- $800, 4th- $700, 5th- $600, 6th- $575, 7th- $550, 8th- $525, 9th- $500, 10th- $400, 11th- $350, 12th- $300, 13th- $275, 14th- $250, 15th through 24th- $200 to start.

Lawrenceburg Speedway is a 3/8 mile high-banked clay oval promoted by Dave Rudisell.
