Macon, Ill. – July 5, 2012 – Ray Bollinger of Kewanee, Ill., became only the second repeat winner on the DIRTcar Summit Modified Nationals tour on Thursday night picking up the win at Macon Speedway.
Bollinger grabbed the lead at the start of the 20-lap main event and never relinquished it. Norm Wood of Sullivan, Ill., finished second ahead of Matt Goulden of Springfield, Ill. Defending Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals Champion Mike Harrison of Highland, Ill., finished fourth and Joe Strawkas of Buffalo, Ill., rounded out the top five.
Harrison extended his DIRTcar Summit Modified Nationals point lead over Gabe Menser of Ashmore, Ill. Menser finished sixth in the main event.
