Clint Demoss Wins American Modified Series Bob Poynter Auto Group Hoosier State Challenge

American Modified SeriesGlasgow, KY-July 10, 2011- The American Modified Series would present the Bob Poynter Auto Group Hoosier State Challenge at Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, IN on Friday July 8 and at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN on Saturday July 9, with a $1,000 points fund being offererd to the top five drivers that accumulate the most points at both tracks for the weekend.

Clint Demoss of Bloomington, IN is the champion of the Bob Poynter Auto Group Hoosier State Challenge,  earning $300 after taking the win in the JB Salvage 30 at Bloomington on Friday evening and taking a sixth place finish at Brownstown on Saturday evening in the Boknecht Trucking 30.  Demoss is currently tenth in series points.

John Demoss of Bloomington, IN takes runner-up honors in the Hoosier State Challenge and garnered an extra $250 after finishing third at Bloomington on Friday and following that up with a fourth place finish on Saturday evening at Brownstown.  John Demoss is the current American Modified Series points leader after the Hoosier State Challenge weekend activities and is the defending series champion.

Michael England of Glasgow, KY finished third in the overall Hoosier State Challenge points chase and received an extra $200 for his efforts after finishing second at Bloomington on Friday evening and finishing 12th at Brownstown on Saturday after an early race spin pushed England to a rear restart after running as high as second.  England is currently third in the series point standings.

Richie Lex of Morgantown, IN finished fourth in the Hoosier State Challenge and collected an extra $150 for his efforts after the veteran racer turned in a ninth place effort at Bloomington on Friday evening and a 5th place at Brownstown on Saturday evening.  Lex currently sits 12th in series points after this weekend.

Jacoby Hines of Ninevah, IN took the final spot in the top five in HSC points and earned an extra $100 after taking a 10th place finish on Friday at Bloomington and then come home in the 8th position at Brownstown on Saturday evening.  Hines holds down the 15th position in series points after this weekend’s activities.
