DIRTcar Adds 13 New Tracks in Ohio, East Regions for UMP Modifieds

CONCORD, N.C. — April 23, 2019 — DIRTcar Racing has added 13 new tracks in its Ohio and East regions for the 2019 season, with competitors ultimately racing for the DIRTcar UMP Modified National Championship in addition to regional titles.

In the Ohio Region, Atomic Speedway, Jackson County Speedway, Mansfield Motor Speedway, Midway Speedway and Muskingum County Speedway join Eldora Speedway, Limaland Motorsports Park, Oakshade Speedway, Portsmouth Raceway Park and Moler Raceway Park.

In the East Region, Lernerville Speedway is joined by Beckley Motorsports Park, Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway, Dog Hollow Speedway, Elkins Speedway, I-77 Speedway, Ohio Valley Speedway, Tyler County Speedway and Virginia Motor Speedway.

The $5,310 point fund in each of the two regions pays the top 10 positions in DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, with $2,000 going to the champion; $1,000 for second; $800 for third; $500 for fourth; $300 for fifth; $200 for sixth; $150 for seventh; $135 for eighth; $125 for ninth and $100 for 10th. Nationally, DIRTcar pays the top 50 positions in DIRTcar UMP Modified racing, with $20,000 going to the champion.

“We are very pleased to welcome all of these new tracks to the DIRTcar family,” said DIRTcar Director Sam Driggers. “It makes us all stronger by increasing the number of venues where competitors can race and the support we can offer promoters and track operators.”

Going into this weekend, Coleman Evans is atop the East Region standings with Jesse Hartman leading the Ohio Region standings. Nationally, Allen Weisser is tops in the standings.
