Putnamville, Ind. – June 26, 2012 – Devin Gilpin of Columbus, Ind., raced to his second DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals win Tuesday night at Lincoln Park Speedway. The win netted Gilpin the $1,000 top prize and the distinction of being the only repeat winner to date on the 2012 edition of the tour.
Gilpin bested a stout field of 39 cars on his way to the win that included a heat race victory. Chad Combs of Bloomington, Ind., followed Gilpin to the line. Paul Bumgardner of Greencastle, Ind., finished third. Defending Summit Modified Nationals Champion Mike Harrison of Highland, Ill., finished fourth and Matt Boknecht of Seymour, Ind., rounded out the top five.

The DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals returns to action Wednesday night at Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, Ill., where NASCAR veteran Ken Schrader of Concord, N.C., won his third and final Summit Modified Nationals events in 2011.
