Heavy Rain Postpones Remainder of North Florida Winternationals to Sunday, Jan. 28

Thunderstorms that swept over North Florida Speedway Saturday night have postponed the remainder of the Winternationals program to Sunday, January 28.

The DIRTcar UMP Modifieds completed Qualifying and Heat Races before the rain fell Saturday, leaving them with only a Last Chance Showdown and Feature event to be run on Sunday. Feature events for all other divisions – including 602 Late Models, Thunder/Pure Stocks, Street Stocks, Box Stocks and Crown Vics – will also be contested, as well as any remaining qualification events.

Gates open Sunday at 9am; the racing program will resume where it left off at noon. Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate. If you can’t be at the track to watch in person, follow along on DIRTcar X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and Instagram for live updates.
