John Demoss Masters American Modified Series Action at Moler Raceway Park

American Modified SeriesWilliamsburg, OH- September 17, 2010- The American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner would present its first event of the 2010 Season Championship weekend on Friday evening at the Kevin and Kim Moler promoted Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH and current series points leader John Demoss of Bloomington, IN would score his second straight series victory to lengthen his points lead and take the $1,500 payday.

Demoss would start eighth in the main event and drive to his second straight series victory. Sixth place starter Trent Young would take runner-up honors in the event, while Clint Demoss, 20th starting Matt Hamilton, and Everett Bradham would complete the top five. The remainder of the top ten would be Scotty Kincaid, Rob Penny, Bryan Barber, 22nd starting Kyle Mitchell, and 19th starting Jimmy Lennex, Jr.

In preliminary action, Trent Young was the SPEC Race Engines top qualifier. Devin Gilpin would win Wehr’s Machine and Racing Products heat one, Bryan Barber would win PPM Racing Products heat two, Clint Demoss would win Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil heat three, and Michael England would win Wiles Driveshafts heat four. The B-Mains would be captured by Cory Skipton and Randy King, while the series provisionals went to Elliott Despain and Mike Selby.

The American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner will present UMP Modified sanctioned dirt track sports entertainment at racing venues throughout Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.
