Jacksonville, Ill. – July 3, 2012 – NASCAR veteran Ken Schrader of Concord, N.C., captured his first DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals win of 2012 on Tuesday night at Jacksonville Speedway worth $700.
Schrader raced to the lead on the opening lap and held off a challenge from Lance Dehm of Chatsworth, Ill., before mechanical woes forced Dehm pitside. Schrader then would be challenged by Brian Lynn of Mason City, Ill., before pulling away for the victory. Lynn finished second with previous night winner Ray Bollinger of Kewanee, Ill., in third. Matt Goulden of Springfield, Ill., finished fourth and Jake Griffin of Quincy, Ill., rounded out the top five.
