World Short Track Championship Reset to Two-Day Show, Saturday & Sunday

CONCORD, NC — Oct. 27, 2018 — Despite the track prep team’s best efforts, yesterday’s rains and overnight humidity have left The Dirt Track at Charlotte with too much moisture to commence racing this morning for the Driven World Short Track Championship. Racing is now set to begin at 2PM today, Saturday, October 27, reverting back to the original two-day schedule on Saturday and Sunday now.

Friday’s original schedule will now run on Saturday, starting with timed Hot Laps at 2PM. This will mean a complete reset of the show, with all previously released lineups redone and based on today’s times. Opening Ceremonies will begin around 5 PM, followed by Heat Races, All-Star Invitational Features and Hornet Features.

Tomorrow’s program will consist of Saturday’s original program. Pit Gates will open at 9AM, Drivers Meeting at 11AM, Opening Ceremonies at 11:45 AM, and Last Chance Showdowns at 12PM before the Championship Features.
