Cornwall Motor Speedway Opens 358 Modified North Region Schedule

CONCORD, NC – July 9, 2018 – On Thursday July 12, Cornwall Motor Speedway in Ontario, hosts the opening round of the DIRTcar 358 Modified North Region schedule with the Race for the Cure 150. Drivers from all over the northeast and Canada will descend upon the quarter-mile bullring to race for the $12,000 grand prize. Ace drivers Matt Sheppard and Mat Williamson are geared up and ready for one of the richest 358 Modified races in the country. Drivers from Quebec like Yan Bussiere and David Hebert are also making the trip. Cornwall regulars like Chris Raabe will have their hands full of invaders trying to take that top prize.

The road to Super DIRT Week begins for the 358 Modified at Cornwall Motor Speedway. Victory will not come easy as drivers will circulate 150 times around the Canadian race track against the best DIRTcar 358 Modified drivers in the country. Over 40 drivers are expected to attempt to make the field.

Support classes for the Race for the Cure 150 are DIRTcar Pro Stocks and DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds meaning the pits will be packed with race cars. The pit gates will open at 3:30 PM. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM. Ticket prices are $35 for adults, $20 for seniors 65 years or older, and kids 16 years old and under are only $5. Time Trials are set for 6:30 PM with Heat Races scheduled to start at 7:00 PM.
