Factory Stock Season Finale Set for Charleston Speedway Oct. 3, Isaak Crowned National Champion

CHARLESTON, IL – Sept. 30, 2020 – While the battle for several of DIRTcar Racing’s coveted national championship points titles plays out in this weekend’s DIRTcar Fall Nationals, the top contenders in the Factory Stock division will make the trip out to Charleston Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 3 for a season-ending duel of their own.

All competing drivers will adhere to Charleston Speedway’s house Factory Stock rules, as enforced under standard weekly competition. This includes a mandate of radial tires only and the lower rear trailing arm installed on the stock location on the car. In addition, drivers will have the option to equip their brakes system with dual master cylinders if they so choose.

A $500 grand prize is in store for the winner; every driver who starts the Feature will receive at least $75.

After posting his 14th Feature win of the season Saturday night at Fayette County Speedway, Trevor Isaak, of Highland, IL, now holds a 100-point lead over second-place Terry McCann and has officially clinched the 2020 DIRTcar Factory Stock national championship. This is the second DIRTcar Factory Stock title of Isaak’s career; he joins Jesse Simmons as the only other driver since 2007 to win the national title more than once.

Pit and spectator gates will open at 3 p.m. Pill draw ends at 6; drivers meeting starts at 6. Pit passes are $35 for adults, children ages 6-11 are $20, 5-and-under are free. Adult general admission tickets are $15, children 6-11 are $5, 5-and-under are free.
