MARS closes 2009 at Springfield and Monett

MARS DIRTcar SeriesThe O’Reilly MARS hits Springfield, MO for their second and final visit of the 2009 season on Saturday September 19th for the Larry Phillips Memorial race paying $3,000 to win and $400 to start. The MARS series will be going into battle with the stars and cars of the MSRA. Pit gates open at 3pm with hot laps starting at 6:15. Racing action will get underway at 7pm. Pitpasses will be $30. From there, the MARS and MSRA travel to Monett Speedway in Monett, MO on Sunday September 20th for another $3,000 to win, $400 to start slobber-knocker. Adult admission is $20 with kids 12-15 years of age $5, and 11& under free. Hot laps are slated for 6:30pm with racing action at 7:00pm. For more information, please visit
