Clarksville, TN — The Fourth Annual Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic will be featured at the StormPay.com Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, TN on Friday/Saturday March 21-22, 2008.
This year’s winner of the Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic for the UMP DIRTcar Super Late Models will receive $10,000 with the UMP Open Wheel Modifieds gunning for $2,000 to win on Friday night. Also on the racing card for the weekend will be Heats and Features for Pure Minis on Friday March 21st along with Time Trials and Feature racing action for the Pro Street division. The purses for the weekend’s events will boast in excess of over $50,000 in total prize money.
Friday’s events will see the gates opening at 4:00 p.m. with Hot Lapping at 6:30 p.m. CST. Fridays racing will see Time Trials and Heats for both the UMP Super Late Models and UMP Open Wheel Modifieds. The Crate Late Models can practice that night as well. The Modified B-Mains and the $2,000 to win A-Main will be run on Friday night March 21st.
Saturday’s events will see the gates opening at 12:00 p.m. with Hot Laps at 2:30 p.m. Saturdays racing includes UMP DIRTcar Super Late Model B-Mains and the $10,000 to win Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic. There will also be Heat Racing and Features for Mini Mods, Street Stocks and Mini Sprints. The Crate Late Models will compete for $1,000 to win/$100 to start in the main event with a complete show of Time Trials and Heat Races before the main event. Saturday’s events will also feature a $1,000 to win ($25.00 entry fee) UMP DIRTcar Open Wheel Modified A-Main event due to the postponement of the Bluegrass Bash event in Kentucky.
The Super Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds and the Crate Late Models will all compete utilizing the UMP Tire Rule.
Previous winners of the Super Late Model portion of the Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic include Billy Moyer of Batesville, AR in 2005, Tim Tungate of Campbellsville, KY in 2006, and Ray Cook of Brasstown, NC in 2007.
Admission prices for Friday March 21st are $25.00 for Pit Passes, $10.00 for General Admission and Children 6-10 are admitted for $5.00. Saturday’s prices are $35.00 at the Pit Gate, $25.00 in the General Admission Grandstands with children 6-10 admitted for just $5.00.
