Weather Pushes LaSalle Speedway Summer Nationals to July 13

LASALLE, Ill. – June 20, 2011 – Persistent downpours of rain and forecasted severe weather forced DIRTcar Racing and LaSalle Speedway officials to postpone the scheduled DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour race to July 13.

The series returns to action tomorrow night, Tuesday June 21 at Spoon River (Ill.) Speedway. The rainout is the third Summer Nationals event out five to be either postponed or canceled by rain since the series began last Wednesday. The opener at Brownstown was delayed to July 12 and Saturday night’s race at Cedar Lake was canceled.
