James settled for second place ahead of Summer Nationals point leader Brian Shirley of Chatham, Ill. Defending DIRTcar Summer Nationals Champion Shannon Babb of Moweaqua, Ill., finished fourth. Brandon Sheppard of New Berlin, Ill., rounded out the top five.
