American Modified Series Date at Moler Raceway Park Rained Out; Reset for July 1

American Modified SeriesGlasgow, KY- May 26, 2011- The American Modified Series event scheduled for Friday May 27 at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH has been postponed and will now take place on Friday July 1.

Moler Raceway Park track co-promoter Kevin Moler notified series race director Chad Yantz earlier this evening that the track and grounds at Moler Raceway Park were saturated with moisture from the week-long off and on rains that had moved across the southern Ohio area. Mr. Moler informed the series that their track would reschedule the event for Friday July 1, so that is when the race will be now take place.

The next scheduled event on the American Modified Series tour will take place on Saturday June 4 at Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, KY. The race will be the 11th Annual Mod Squad Bash and will pay the winner $1,500. This is an event that has also been rescheduled after being weathered out back on May 14.

The American Modified Series presents UMP Modified sanctioned dirt track sports entertainment at racing venues throughout Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee.
