American Modified Series Invades The Hoosier State on August 13 and August 14

American Modified SeriesGlasgow, KY-August 5, 2010- The American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner will return after a two week break in action with a huge weekend of racing in the Hoosier State of Indiana as the series will visit Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, IN on Friday August 13 and then drive a couple of hours east to Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, IN on Saturday August 14. Both events will pay $1,500 to win and $200 to start.

On Friday August 13 at Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, IN, the American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner will present a full program of practice, A-B Group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win A-Main presented by Indiana Stone Works and JB Salvage. Local divisions in competition at Bloomington Speedway on August 13 will be Non-Wing Sprint Cars and UMP Super Stocks.

On Saturday August 14 at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, IN, the American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner will present a full program of practice, A-B Group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 40 laps, $1,500 to win Monster Modified 40 A-Main. Local divisions in competition at Lawrenceburg Speedway on August 14 will be Non-Wing Sprint Cars and Pure Stocks.

Activities for the August 13 Bloomington Speedway date will see the pit area open at 4:30 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 5:30 p.m. The driver’s meeting will be at 6:15 p.m., with practice set for 6:30 p.m., followed by time trials, with racing set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
General admission ticket prices for this event will be $12, with children ages 12 and under free, while a pit pass will be $25.

Activities for the August 14 Lawrenceburg Speedway date will see the pit area open at 4:00 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 5:00 p.m. The driver’s meeting will be at 5:45 p.m., with practice set for 6:00 p.m., followed by time trials, with racing set to begin at 7:00 p.m. General admission ticket prices for this event will be $15, children ages 7 to 12 will be $7, children under age 6 will be free, and a pit pass will be $30.

The A-Main purse for the August 13 Bloomington Speedway event and the August 14 Lawrenceburg Speedway event is as follows: 1st- $1,500, 2nd- $1,000, 3rd- $800, 4th- $700, 5th- $600, 6th- $575, 7th- $550, 8th- $525, 9th- $500, 10th- $400, 11th- $350, 12th- $300, 13th- $275, 14th- $250, 15th through 24th- $200 to start.

Bloomington Speedway is a ¼ mile high-banked red clay oval promoted by Mike and Judy Miles. Bloomington Speedway is located at 5185 South Fairfax Road, just outside of Bloomington, IN just a few minutes off of Old State Route 37. Lawrenceburg Speedway is a 3/8 mile high-banked clay oval promoted by Dave Rudisell Lawrenceburg Speedway is located at 351 East Eads Parkway, just outside of Lawrenceburg, IN at exit 16 of Hwy. 50 and then drive one mile to the Dearborn County Fairgrounds.
