American Modified Series Presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner Points Now Official

American Modified SeriesGlasgow, KY-September 21, 2010- Series official with the American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner would like to announce their 2010 points audit is complete and the series points are official.

John Demoss of Bloomington, IN is the inaugural American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner series champion.  Demoss totaled 616 points and scored victories in two of the last three series A-Main events.  Bryan Barber of Greensburg, KY would finish in second place in series points with a total of 573 points and one series event win.  Brian Shaw of Robinson, IL would finish third in points with 467 markers, while Elliott Despain of Campbellsville, KY and Everett Bradham of Olney, IL would complete the top five in a tie for the fourth position with 443 points each, with Despain also capturing the series Rookie of the Year title.

Rob Penny of Owensboro, KY would head up the second five in final points with a total 343 points.  Early season points leader Matt Goulden of Springfield, IL would finish in the seventh spot in points with a tally of 337 points.  Jason Wheatley would win one series event on his way to an eighth place finish in the standings with 305 points.  Bloomington, IN native Shelby Miles would garner ninth place honors in the final tally with 282 points, while Trent Young would complete the top ten with 277 points after winning the series final event of the season.
