CONCORD, NC — Oct. 18, 2018 — DIRTcar Racing has declared NGK the Official Spark Plug of the Driven Racing Oil World Short Track Championship. The three-day event, attracting hundreds of the best DIRTcar drivers from across the country will now champion the state-of-the-art Ignition Specialist.

In addition to becoming the Official Spark Plug of the Driven World Short Track Championship, NGK Spark Plugs will sponsor contingency awards, granting drivers new opportunities to pad their pockets and take home products. The Hard Charger of all nine divisions, along with all Specialty Award winners, will each receive a set of NGK Spark Plugs as well.
The third annual Driven World Short Track Championship is a three-day event featuring the best weekly racers in the country. The event, hosted at the Dirt Track at Charlotte (NC), Thursday, Oct. 25 to Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, will put nine divisions on center stage in pursuit of a purse in excess of $120,000. The mega-event takes place the weekend before the World of Outlaws World Finals, ensuring two weeks of can’t miss, season-ending action featuring dirt racing’s top drivers, series and divisions.
