Richmond Raceway Moves American Modified Series June 18 Event to August 20

American Modified SeriesGlasgow, KY- June 11, 2011- Officials with the American Modified Series need to announce a schedule change for one of the upcoming events originally scheduled for the month of June.

Richmond Raceway co-promoter Joey Tackett informed series officials on Friday of his intent to reschedule his 2nd Annual Open Wheel Modified Bash from its originally scheduled date on Saturday June 18 to a new date on Saturday August 20.  The date that Richmond Raceway has moved their American Modified Series event to will now coincide with the track’s Fan Appreciation Night also scheduled for that same evening.

The American Modified Series presents UMP Modified sanctioned dirt track sports entertainment at racing venues throughout Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee.  For more information concerning the American Modified Series, call series race director Chad Yantz at (606) 510-4836 or via the internet by visiting the series website at www.americanmodifiedseries.com.
