Turning Stone Extends DIRTcar NE Banquet Room Reservations

With days counting down until the final event of the 2010 racing season, management at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino has extended the cut-off date for teams reserving rooms for the 35th Annual DIRTcar Racing NorthEast ‘Night of Champions’ Awards Banquet to OCTOBER 29, 2010 effective immediately.

A number of rooms have been blocked off at both the Hotel Resort and The Tower in the name of “DIRTcar Racing” on Friday, Nov. 19 and Saturday, Nov. 20 at a rate of $140.00 per night for race teams, sponsors and track personnel seeking overnight accommodations. These weekending room blocks will be held with a three-week cutoff so reservations must now be made by Oct. 29 to insure the special discounted rates.

The traditional post-season celebration among owners, competitors, sponsors and officials will honor the top series drivers along with DIRTcar Northeast Region and Track champions is scheduled for Sat., Nov. 20. DIRTcar Promoter meetings will run Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. with lunch to follow. The evening awards program for Big-Block Modified, 358-Modified, Sportsman and Pro Stock championship teams is set to kick off with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m.

Turning Stone is centrally located, just off the New York State Thruway (I-90) in Verona, approximately 30 miles east of Syracuse. At Exit 33, go left at the traffic light on to Route 365, travel 1/4-mile south before turning left at Patrick Road.
