DIRTcar eSports | Stars & Stripes Classic
The DIRTcar eSports Stars & Stripes Classic returns June 9–11, 2026, bringing elite sim racers together for three nights of high-intensity competition at Eldora Speedway. Featuring the Dirt Pro Late Model on a fixed setup, the event challenges up to 120 drivers to battle through preliminary nights, last chance qualifiers, and a 50-lap championship feature.
Sanctioned by DIRTcar eSports and powered through iRacing, the Stars & Stripes Classic emphasizes consistency, racecraft, and adaptability as track conditions evolve throughout each night. With a structured format, strict competition rules, and a $1,250 purse on the line, drivers must navigate qualifying, heat races, and feature events to earn their place among the 24-car main event field.

- Late Entry Fee: $25 (effective after June 1 at 11:59 PM EST)

Preliminary Nights | June 9 & 10
- League: #10762
- Field Size: 60 drivers max per night
- Track State: Clean at session start; carries through the night

- 8:00 PM: 15-Minute Practice
- 8:15 PM: 5-Minute Drivers’ Meeting (track closed)
- 8:20 PM: Qualifying (2 laps / 3 minutes)
- 8:23 PM:
- Heat Races: 4 × 8 laps (Top 4 advance)
- B-Mains: 2 or 3 × 10 laps (Top 3 or 4 advance)
- Warmup: 5 minutes (if needed)
- Preliminary Feature: 30 laps (Top 10 transfer to Main Event, 11-20 to LCS, 21-25 to NQR)

Non-Qualifiers Race (NQR)
Will be ran if entries exceed 80
- 8:00 PM: 15-Minute NQR Practice (10% track state; carries forward)
- 8:15 PM: NQR – 12 laps
- Eligibility: Drivers finishing 21st-25th in each Preliminary Feature
- Transfers: Winner earns 21st starting spot in LCS
Last Chance Showdown (LCS)
- ~8:25 PM: 15-Minute LCS Practice (10% track state; carries forward)
- 8:40 PM: LCS – 20 laps
- Eligibility: Drivers finishing 11th-20th in each Preliminary Feature
- Transfers: Top 4 advance to Feature
- Alternates: Drivers who place 5th and 6th in the LCS may join the feature session as alternates. They will only be permitted to start the feature if a previously qualified driver fails to appear.
Main Event Feature
- ~9 PM: 15-Minute Feature Practice (10% track state; carries forward)
- 9:15 PM: 50-Lap Feature (24 cars total)
- Starting Order: Based on Preliminary finishing positions
LCS and Feature sessions will open immediately following the completion of the previous session. All listed times are approximate and subject to change.

- Green-White-Checkered: Up to 3 attempts
- Mirrors: Enabled

League Session Requirements
- All drivers must accept league invites before race night.
- Final invite-acceptance deadline: 7:30 PM EST each night.
- Drivers who fail to accept by the deadline may be replaced by alternates.
- The Feature session will not begin until the LCS has concluded.
4. START & RESTART PROCEDURES
- The leader controls the start and may accelerate at any point within the designated start zone.
- The leader has the choice of inside or outside on double-file restarts. For the original start, the driver scheduled to start 1st will start inside.
- Restarts are double-file unless changed to single-file due to:
- Consecutive cautions
- Fewer than 10 laps remaining
- Admin discretion
- Restart order is determined by iRacing timing and scoring.
- Jump Start Penalty: 2-spot deduction per position gained.
5. COMPETITION & CONDUCT RULES
5.1 Incident & Caution Review
- Race Control reviews all caution incidents before returning to green.
- Drivers ruled at fault will receive an EOL (End of Line) penalty.
- Accumulating two (2) EOLs in a single night results in being parked for the remainder of that event night.
- Race Control will also conduct a post-event review to identify any incidents that may have been missed during the session. Any resulting adjustments or penalties may be issued within 24 hours of the event’s conclusion.
5.2 Contact & Driving Standards
- Intentional contact or retaliation results in immediate disqualification (DQ).
- Intentional cautions may result in immediate DQ and potential race bans.
- Wall riding, unrealistic exploits, and overly aggressive driving may result in penalties or DQ per the iRacing Sporting Code.
6. PIT ROAD RULES
- Drivers may not re-enter the racing surface under green after pitting unless safely tagging the field after it passes the pit exit.
7. MEDIA & BROADCAST POLICY
- The Top 3 finishers must report to the Broadcast Waiting Room in the DIRTcar eSports Discord following their session.
- Drivers must maintain respectful conduct toward competitors, officials, and broadcast staff.
- Misconduct may result in chat restrictions, probation, suspension, or removal from the series.
8. DISCIPLINARY ACTION & PAYOUTS
- Disqualified drivers forfeit all payouts from that event.
- Remaining competitors are moved up accordingly.
9. ROSTERS & SEEDING
- Preliminary Night rosters are assigned based on driver selection and competitive distribution.
- NQR, LCS and Main Event rosters are determined strictly by Preliminary results.
10. DISCORD & PAINT SCHEMES
- To ensure proper identification during broadcasts, drivers must incorporate their assigned event number clearly and visibly into their paint scheme. Disciplinary actions may be enforced if you fail to do so.
- Participation in the DIRTcar eSports Discord channel is mandatory for all drivers, as it serves as the primary platform for communication and official event updates.

DIRTcar eSports officials reserve the authority to enforce rules, issue or modify penalties, and approve or deny participation to maintain competitive integrity. All official decisions are final.
