Barberville,FL – February 5, 2010 – Strong afternoon storms and forecasted continued rain forced officials to cancel what was set to be Night 3 of the 39th DIRTcar Nationals by UNOH.
Strong storms and accompanying Tornado Warnings passed through the Volusia Speedway Park grounds around 3 p.m. est. and forced officials to call the scheduled events.
Tickets purchased for the rained out Friday night World of Outlaws Sprint Car show may be presented for any of the remaining events during the DIRTcar Nationals. In the event that tickets cannot be used, tickets may be mailed to Volusia Speedway Park, 1500 E SR 40, DeLeon Springs, FL 32130 to obtain an refund.
The 39th DIRTcar Nationals by UNOH will resume Saturday February 6, 2010 with the season opening event for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series along with DIRTcar UMP Modified Round One Qualifying for the 2nd Annual Gator Championship.
