DIRTcar Northeast In Syracuse For National Parts Peddler Trade Show

Weedsport, NYNovember 18, 2008 – By Tom Skibinski, DIRTcar Racing Northeast PR Director

The start of the National Parts Peddler Trade Show & Auction is just days away!

For the 29th consecutive year the unique three-day high-performance vehicle and equipment exhibition will be held at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse and DIRTcar Racing Northeast will once again be part of the popular Salt City production staged in the Verizon Center of Progress Building.

Company reps will be in attendance to answer questions beside the familiar red Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series Support Trailer that will be visible during the weekend. DIRTcar License Applications will also be available along with a wide assortment of DVDs plus ticket order forms for Super DIRT Week XXXVIII, Oct. 6-11, 2009.

Parts Peddler promoter Corky Stockham has built an American tradition for auto racers to attend from all over the nation and several foreign countries with the Trade Show offering national and regional racing equipment exhibits.

“It’s a hardcore nuts and bolts show that offers something for nearly every type of racecar,” noted seasoned showman Stockham. “What makes this event different from all others is the auctioning of several brand new state-of-the-art feature racecars provided by several northeast chassis builders. Racers look forward to getting a first look at what’s new in the industry. It’s a hands on feast of real world, face-to-face knowledge directly to the racers from equipment manufacturers.”

“DIRTcar always has a strong presence around here this time of year. Syracuse remains a vital area for the performance parts market and its right in the backyard of DIRT, one of the leaders in the racing industry. And our show remains the oldest of its kind for hard-core automotive exhibits,” Stockham said.

The 2008 NPPN Auction & Trade Show, November 21-23, is expected to draw numerous drivers, mechanics and track officials from around the DIRTcar Northeast circuit and beyond.

Race teams annually find some of the best deals anywhere at the Parts Peddler Auction and Trade Show. There will be well over 300 booths at this year’s Trade Show offering race cars and parts of all kinds with many new trailers and tow vehicles on display for sale. Racers will have the opportunity to meet the leading dealers and manufacturers in the industry one-on-one and it’s a great opportunity to look for sponsorship as well.

Show hours are Friday 12:00 noon till 10:00pm, Saturday 10:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 3:00pm. Auction feature cars are sold on Saturday afternoon while Sunday is a bargain hunters dream as many selling vendors’ inventories are liquidated directly to the public.
