Lebanon Valley Speedway Hosts DIRTcar Pro Stock Series for 30 Lap Feature
CONCORD, NC – July 16, 2018 – It’s Food Bank Night on Saturday, July 21 at Lebanon Valley Speedway when they host the DIRTcar Pro Stock Series for their third Series race of 2018. The first race was won in dramatic fashion by Bruno Cyr and the second takes place Friday, July 20 at Albany-Saratoga Speedway making it a two-night must-see DIRTcar Pro Stock double-header.
The West Lebanon, NY race track supports DIRTcar Pro Stocks racing weekly. Competition at the local level is fierce with 28 Pro Stock drivers making starts already this year. Current Lebanon Valley Speedway points leader Jason Meltz leads Rick Dempsey, Jason Casey, Jon Routhier, and Jay Casey. Veteran Pro Stock driver Rob Yetman runs close behind in sixth. Yetman has won five straight Super DIRT Week Pro Stock Championships, a feat unlikely to ever be broken or even duplicated. The streak stretches over races on the famous New York State Fairgrounds one-mile race track to the The Clay Palace in Oswego, NY.
Hot Laps get underway at approximaly 5:00 PM. As it is Food Bank Night, bring a non-perishable food item and receive $1 off your admission. General admission is $11 for adults, $13 for reserved, and only $2 for kids. All of Lebanon Valley’s racing divisions will be in action.
The DIRTcar Pro Stock Series is the only full-fender touring DIRTcar Northeast division. Races are between 30 and 75 laps at tracks all over southeast Canada and the northeast United States. Fans love their hard-racing style as they beat and bang through the corners. Teams pride themselves on showing up at the track with some of the best designed stock car wraps and paint schemes you’ve ever seen.
The DIRTcar Pro Stocks will go for 75 laps at Super DIRT Week XLVII at Oswego Speedway on Sunday, October 7. However, the Pro Stocks will make their debut at the World Short Track Championship at the Dirt Track at Charolotte Motor Speedway for their 2018 season finale. Both races are can’t miss events.
