With weather models showing rain all day across Cayuga County on Saturday, Super DIRTcar Series, DIRTcar Northeast and Weedsport Speedway officials have canceled Saturday’s Cavalcade Cup 100, keeping the best interest of fans and traveling teams in mind.
The Super DIRTcar Series portion of the event will not be made up.
However, the Sportsman Classic for the DIRTcar Sportsman Championship Series at Weedsport has been moved to Sunday (Sept. 8) of the Cavalcade Cup Weekend, already set to feature DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, Empire Super Sprints and the Empire Street Stock Series.

The Super DIRTcar Series will return to action at Albany-Saratoga Speedway for the Malta Massive Weekend on Saturday, Sept. 21. The event will pay $10,000 to win and award a guaranteed starting spot in Super DIRT Week 52’s Billy Whittaker Cars 200 (Saturday, Oct. 12).
