DIRTcar Racing and Weedsport Speedway officials have called off Sunday’s Cavalcade Cup events due to wet grounds from heavy overnight rains combined with unsettled weather the rest of the day forecasted by Wayne Mahar’s Precision Weather Service.

The DIRTcar 358 Feature, ESS Feature, and the DIRTcar Sportsman Classic scheduled for today will be completed on Tuesday, Oct. 3, during Super DIRT Week. The Super DIRTcar Series portion of the Cavalcade Cup will be canceled as there is no suitable date left this season to make up the race.

Fans with ticket stubs and pit wristbands should hold onto them for the rescheduled DIRTcar 358 Modified, ESS, and Sportsman events. Anyone with who purchased Sunday tickets in advance will receive a refund.

Next up for the Super DIRTcar Series and DIRTcar Racing will be the Malta Massive Weekend Sept. 22-23 at Albany Saratoga Speedway. Super DIRT Week kicks off on Sunday, Oct. 2, when the first campers move into Oswego Speedway.
