With weather models showing persistent rain throughout the day on Sunday in Long Sault, ON, dropping over an inch of rain, DIRTcar Northeast and Cornwall Motor Speedway officials have canceled the Chico Dingwall Memorial with the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series.
The decision was made keeping the best interest of traveling teams and fans in mind.
The DIRTcar 358 Modified Series returns to action with a stop at Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville, NY on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Mike Mahaney continues to lead the championship battle by 12 points over Mat Williamson with seven races remaining – including the Salute to the Troops 150 presented by Air National Guard during Super DIRT Week 54 (Oct. 5-10).
