SCHEDULE UPDATE: World Short Track Championship Adds Thursday Program to Friday

10th World Short Track Championship

To ensure teams and fans are given the full World Short Track Championship program with ideal track conditions, Thursday’s program has been moved to Friday at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.

With rain Monday and Tuesday continuing into Wednesday, load-in and registration have been moved to Thursday, and on-track action will now start at 11 a.m. on Friday. There will be no load-in or registration on Wednesday.

Teams can begin to line-up at the zMax Dragway on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 9 a.m. — any teams arriving earlier will be staged across the street from the dragway entrance in Lot Y. Load-in will begin at 1 p.m. Registration will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Friday’s program (OCT. 31) has been expanded with Hot Laps/Qualifying for all 10 divisions set to begin at 11 a.m. That will lead into Friday’s originally scheduled program, starting at 4 p.m. – which includes Features for the DIRTVision Hornets and Heat Races for the other nine divisions.

The Championship Features for the 604 Late Models, DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, and DIRTcar Pro Stocks will run at the end of Friday’s program. They’ll be 15 laps each.

Saturday’s program remains the same with Last Chance Showdowns starting at 12 p.m. (ET) and Opening Ceremonies at 5 p.m., leading into the main attraction of the week, Features for the 10 divisions.

Competitor info, the full schedule, and tickets can be found at dirtcar.com/worldshorttrack.

If you can’t make it to the track, you can watch all the action live on DIRTVision.
