Summer Nationals at Sycamore Speedway Rescheduled to July 18

Tyler Erb clinches Week 1 championship

Due to a scheduling conflict with the original makeup date for the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Late Models event at Sycamore Speedway on July 8, the event has been rescheduled to Thursday, July 18.

The new makeup event will pay $6,000 to the winner and will count points toward the overall championship standings; no weekly championship points will be awarded. This change also moves the championship finale to Sycamore, which could potentially decide the 2024 Hell Tour points championship and award the recipient the final $10,000 bonus check.

Sycamore’s original race date of June 16 was part of Week 1, and with its rescheduling means the Week 1 points championship is now complete. Tyler Erb has officially clinched the weekly title and is awarded the first $10,000 bonus of the season.

Tickets for the makeup date at Sycamore Speedway will be available at the gate on July 18. If you can’t be there to watch in person, stream every lap live on DIRTVision.
