A return to the Turning Stone Resort & Casino will officially bring to a close the 2008 race season as the popular entertainment complex in Verona, New York plays host to the 33rd Annual DIRTcar Racing NorthEast ‘Night of Champions’ Awards Banquet and Fall Promoters Meeting & Workshop on November 14-15.

The traditional post-season celebration among competitors, sponsors and officials will honor the top series drivers along with DIRTcar NorthEast track champions, with a number of special awards handed out during the annual autumn affair.

DIRTcar Promoter meetings will run 9am-5pm on Friday with the awards banquet for Big-Block Modified, 358-Modified, Sportsman Modified, UMP Pro Stock and UMP Street Stock championship teams set to take place the evening of Saturday, November 15.

A number of rooms have been reserved on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for race teams, sponsors and track personnel seeking overnight accommodations at this popular entertainment complex in anticipation of another sell-out gathering. Weekend room blocks will be held with a four-week cutoff so reservations must be made by October 14 to insure the special discounted rates.
