The Sport Compact Dirt Racing Association (SCDRA) and the South Eastern Hornets Association (SEHA) will each have a hand in conducting the DIRTVision Hornet division events in the ninth annual World Short Track Championship at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, Oct. 31–Nov. 2.

Both organizations will run two separate programs throughout the weekend, starting with an optional practice session for all drivers on Thursday, Oct. 31. On both Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2, the SCDRA cars will be divided into a maximum of three Feature events (lined up by pill draw), which will be 15 laps in length. After SCDRA events are complete, the SEHA cars will take to the track and conduct an identical program of up to three separate 15-lap Features (depending on car count).

The program schedule for each day has been updated in the competitor guide to reflect these changes.

Drivers who have already registered to compete in the Hornet division are currently signed up to compete with the SEHA group. Hornet drivers are permitted to compete in both classes, given their car(s) are legal under the separate rulebooks. Those who intend to compete with the SCDRA group must re-register in the SCDRA division at the link below.
