A high-banked battle awaits the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series in New York on Saturday, April 27.
The Series will make its lone stop of the season at Fulton Speedway to headline the Highbank Holdupweekend finale.
Joining the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series on Saturday are the track’s DIRTcar Sportsman division and 4-Cylinders.

Here are the storylines to watch at Fulton:
Beware of Timmer: The road to 358 Modified Victory Lane at Fulton goes through four-time defending track champion Tim Sears Jr. The Hastings, NY driver is fifth on the track’s all-time wins list with 37 triumphs, but none have come in DIRTcar 358 Modified Series competition.
In 44 DIRTcar 358 Modified Series starts, “Timmer’s” best finish is second at Weedsport, twice (2018 and 2021). He finished sixth the last time the Series raced at Fulton in 2023.
The Outsiders Are Coming: Mat Williamson was the winner the last time the Series battled at Fulton, a crucial step toward the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series championship in 2023.
“Money Mat” has had plenty of recent success at the 3/8-mile oval, winning two Outlaw 200s since 2019 and two 358 Modified Series victories. The St. Catharines, ON driver enters the weekend with 15 Series triumphs, his last coming in the Salute to the Troops 150 during Super DIRT Week.
Felix Roy aims to keep his momentum rolling after earning his first Series title in 2024. However, he accomplished that feat without achieving a victory. “Hollywood” has made five career starts at Fulton, with his best 358 Modified Series finish being an eighth in 2023.
Mike Mahaney plans to follow the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series in 2025 after earning his first career Series win last year during the Malta Massive Weekend at Albany-Saratoga Speedway. Mahaney has made 30 starts at the track but hasn’t reached Victory Lane. However, he’s knocked on the door several times with 10 top fives, including three runner-up finishes.
Another Canadian driver to keep an eye on this weekend is Chris Raabe. The three-time DIRTcar 358 Modified Series winner and 2016 Series champion will attempt to make his third Series start this weekend at Fulton, where he finished 10th in 2019.
Fulton Title Contenders: Fulton’s list of weekly competitors boasts two drivers aiming for the DIRTcar 358 Modified championship in 2025, Lance Willix and Dave Marcuccilli.
After winning last year’s Series opener at Glen Ridge Motorsports Park, Willix narrowly missed out on his first championship by four points. The Theresa, NY driver, had four top fives and seven top 10s at Fulton in 2024, finishing fifth in the track’s points standings. His best Series finish at the track is a 12th in 2023.
Marcucilli, the 2022 Series champion, finished third in the track’s standings last year with a win, seven top fives, and nine top 10s. While he hasn’t won a Series event at Fulton, the Montezuma, NY, driver finished second during the track’s 2018 Series stop. He’s searching for his second Series win after reaching Victory Lane at Mohawk International Raceway in 2019.
