With weather models showing heavy rain throughout the day Sunday at Glen Ridge Motorsports Park, DIRTcar Northeast and track officials have canceled Sunday’s DIRTcar Pro Stock Series event.
The event will not be made up, as Series and track officials could not find a viable date to reschedule.
Following Saturday’s race at Lebanon Valley Speedway, drivers will turn their attention to a second stop at Mohawk International Raceway on Saturday, Sept. 19.
Bastien Caron leads the standings entering Saturday night’s race at Lebanon Valley and aims to earn a September win at Mohawk for the second straight season. He’ll be chased by Series stars Devon Camenga, Jason Casey, and six-time DIRTcar Pro Stock Series champion Pete Stefanski.
The Series stars will also be challenges by Mohawk regulars like Sid Harmer Jr., Dakota Sharp, and Zack Daniels, who won his first career Series Feature at the track in July.
