Hi, what are you looking for?

Danny Ems and Rob Shaw take Fall Dirt National wins at I-55 Raceway!

Pevely, MO (October 2nd, 2010) Danny Ems would simply dominate the Pure Stock division main event at the 9th Annual Bud Pohle Memorial. Ems took the lead at the drop of the green flag and went pretty much all twenty laps unchallenged for the win. Tommy Gegg would give chase for most of the event, but a mechanical problem would force Gegg to make a pit stop during a lap fourteen caution, forcing him to restart at the tail and take him out of competition. That setup a battle between Terry McCann and Tommy Gaither for the second spot and the two would fight it out for several laps with McCann coming out on top to finish in the second spot. Gaither would take third while Dennis Ponder charged from the tenth starting spot to finish fourth. Troy Bunfill would round out the top five.

The Pro 4 Stock main event didn’t disappoint as once again that division had another exciting main event at I-55 Raceway. Dayton Racer powered into the lead at the drop of the green flag and proceeded to lead the first fourteen laps with I-55 Raceway’s 2010 Track Champion Justin McCallister and 2010 UMP DIRTcar National Champion Rob Shaw providing all kinds of pressure to the young racer for the lead. After a caution reset the field on lap fourteen, McCallister and Shaw would use their experience on the restart and work their way past Racer. McCallister would pace the field for just a few laps before Shaw would make his move for the top spot. Shaw would slide past McCallister for the lead with just two laps remaining and hold on for the win. McCallister would take second with Racer finishing third. Justin Shaw would take fourth with Gary Range getting fifth.
